Project Manager, Research (Part-Time Role)

Combining personalized video coaching, education, and motivational content, we bring healthcare professionals, patients, and their families together to solve the $500B medication nonadherence problem. Our mobile app allows patients to connect with a care team of pharmacists, nurses, and health coaches through daily video check-ins, anytime and anywhere. We make it fun for patients to stay on top of their medications, help them address medication challenges, and empower them to improve their health by addressing barriers to adherence related to social determinants of health.

JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role:

As a Part-time Project Manager of Research, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and successful completion of research projects ensuring ethical research practices are adhered to while coordinating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the success and performance of sponsored research projects at Scene, including tracking toward project objectives, activities, timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables, and reporting on a routine basis
• Design, implement, and coordinate specific program and project activities
• Establish and track project plans, timelines, and milestones of assigned activities and tasks
• Liaise with external collaborators (sub-awardees) and partners, coordinate with business units and internal contributors to ensure project milestones are met
• Manage existing budgets for all grants for sponsored research. 
• Track and manage resources and timelines to ensure all projects are on budget and schedule
• Actively liaise with the Finance department in a collaborative manner
• Organize and conduct meetings among business units, contributors, collaborators, and partners
• Respond to inquiries and concerns from business units and external collaborators and partners as needed
• Communicate Principal Investigator(s), Scene Executive Team, and supervisor regarding deliverables and programmatic tasks and issues as needed
• Act as a contact person in private or government platforms, and submit official documentation to the funding agency, including budgets, documents, and reports.
• Establish, document, and share repeatable and scalable project management processes and procedures for research programs
• Ensure that tickets are in place and requirements draft for product and technical development planning and design that enhances Scene’s product features and meets research technical objectives
• Plan, direct, and execute annual and periodic research performance progress reports for the funding agency for existing projects.

Estimated Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (Project names are kept confidential) 

• Specific named project management and meetings: 2 hours per week
• Specific project management and meetings: up to 6 hours per week
• Specific project management and meetings: 10 hours per week
• Documentation and process improvement: 2 hours per week

Additional Expectations for Part-Time Role:

• Respond to client communications within the business day, or the next business day if after hours
• Prepare client meeting materials and agendas at least one day in advance of the meeting for review and approval by the manager
