Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive who can craft strategy and manage sales efforts to insurance carriers, ACOs, MCOs, large physician practices, pharmacy benefit managers (PMBs), for technology-enabled medication adherence service. The right candidate has demonstrated experience working with and understanding reimbursement models for payers and/or compensation structures for ACOs and MCOs. Help emocha leadership create a technology-enabled service that is attractive for this market. Position requires confident, high-energy outreach to potentials leads, in-person and webex pitches, drafting proposals for new business, and negotiation of contracts. Proven skills in creating a strategy and executing are important as this market is quite dynamic.

Experience in a public health or with Medicaid/Medicare plans a plus. Position is for an individual contributor with potential to grow and manage a team as the company develops. Candidate must be ready to work in a hands-on, highly motivated and positive start up environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft strategy for approaching the Healthcare Payer space with emocha’s unique medication adherence platform
  • Develop and secure business within the Healthcare Payer space:  create proposals and negotiate terms, within set parameters, to secure contracts for implementation of emocha.
  • Work with other members of the team to craft strategy for marketing, lead generation, sales collateral, and outreach
  • Strong relationship creation and management of prospect, key clients and distribution partners
  • Provide guidance and insight into the Healthcare Payer marketplace to assist in program and product development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Payer space within emocha; coach and train others as needed

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of healthcare experience with demonstrated success working and/or negotiating with Payers (health plans, health systems, IDN, employers etc.) and Distribution Channels (benefit consultants, third party administrators, disease management organizations etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare trends and relevant Payer-related population health strategies and valued based contracting approaches.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Has established personal credibility as a strategic advisor to Payers and Distribution Channel Partners
  • Significant and sustained business development experience that includes interacting and strategizing with and presenting to c-suite executives – proven trusted advisor status.
  • Relevant experience negotiating contracts with Payer and gaining adoption of new technologies, practices and/or solutions.
  • Demonstrated or relevant experience creating new business, managing existing business and bringing forward new ideas to grow revenue.  Relevant experience creating and executing revenue generating go-to-market strategies.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communications skills that translate into positive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Commitment to working in a startup environment with a motivated team that is on a mission to improve public health
